Team members, roles, and invites
Invite teammates by email from Settings → Team. Owner-admins manage settings and billing; managers run the day-to-day. Seat limits depend on your plan.
Nexxus is built for teams — everyone signs in with their own account, and every action is attributed to the person who took it.
Inviting someone
Settings → Team sends an email invite. The invitee clicks the link, sets a password, and lands in your company's admin — no setup on their end.
Roles
- Owner-admin — full control: company settings, billing, team management, payouts, everything.
- Manager — the day-to-day operator seat: properties, tenants, leasing, maintenance, bookings, reports.
A good default: keep one or two owner-admins and make everyone else a manager. You can change a member's role any time from the Team tab.
Seats and your plan
Team size follows your subscription: Solo includes one seat, Portfolio includes five, and Empire is unlimited. See Subscription & billing.
Who gets notified about what?
Team membership and notification routing live on the same Settings tab because they're two halves of one question: who should hear about a new lead, application, or maintenance request? Routing is covered in Notifications & alerts.
A note on security
Every teammate works inside your company only — data isolation is enforced at the database level, not just in the interface. Residents and owners have separate portal accounts with their own, much narrower permissions; a portal login can never see staff screens.
