Off-cycle (supplemental) payout runs
Cut an extra payout mid-window at any past cutoff date. It pays the delta of rent collected since the last run, and the next scheduled run automatically nets it out.
Sometimes an owner needs money before your regular payout day — a big rent check landed mid-window, or an owner asked for an early draw. Off-cycle runs handle this without breaking your books.
How to cut one
On the Payouts page, use "+ Off-cycle run." Pick a cutoff date (any past date inside the current window — not a future date, and not your regular payout day) and a basis. Nexxus computes a draft paying the delta: rent collected since the last run, up to your cutoff.
The next run nets it out — automatically
Because payout math is cumulative ("owed to date minus already counted"), the next scheduled run simply counts what the off-cycle run already paid and pays the remainder. No manual adjustments, no double-pays. You can cut an off-cycle run and forget about it.
Guardrails you'll notice
- No double-approving a window: approving a run automatically recomputes any sibling drafts in the same window, so a scheduled draft and an off-cycle draft can never both pay the same dollars. Approving the scheduled run also cleans up a stale off-cycle draft.
- Recurring owner deductions apply on scheduled runs only — an off-cycle draw won't double-charge a monthly deduction like an internet bill.
- A cutoff that lands before money you've already paid computes an empty run rather than a negative one.
- Draft off-cycle runs have a Discard button; like all drafts, nothing is real until approved.
Where it shows up
The Payouts page groups each window's runs together — the scheduled run plus any off-cycle runs — so a month with an early draw reads as one coherent story: what was paid early, what the scheduled run settled, and the window's total.

When do owners get paid? Payout windows and cadence
Your company payout day defines the collection window each run pays out. Day 10 means the June run pays rent collected May 10 → June 10; set day 1 to pay the prior month in arrears.
Cash vs Advance: the payout basis toggle
Collected cash pays owners only money that has actually arrived; Advance fronts the month's earned rent before it lands. Months on different bases self-balance automatically.
